Yes, vegetarian and vegan options are available. We can also accommodate gluten free and most allergies. Please contact us in advance so we can be sure to provide you with the best experience.

Can I bring my dog on the tour?

We love them, but we cannot allow pets on our tours.

What is the cancellation policy?

Customers will receive a full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour start time. Unfortunately, any cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour start time can not be refunded. In those cases, we can reschedule you for another date or provide a gift certificate in lieu of rescheduling.

Where should I park for my tour?

After your purchase tickets, you’ll receive a confirmation email with parking suggestions.

Do I need to tip my guide?

Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%.

The tour operates rain or shine, so please dress accordingly.

Group Minimums

This tour requires a minimum of four guests in total. If we do not reach that capacity by 24 hours in advance we will contact you to reschedule or refund you.

Dietary Restrictions

Online Waiver

Every guest must sign a waiver before experiencing the tour. This will be emailed to you in advance. If you are booking for a group, please forward the waiver on to others in your group.

Alcohol

Guests must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol.

My wife and I met our guide Leyla on Sunday 12/28 for our Sac Town Bites food tour and were pleasantly surprised that we were the only two on the tour. We really liked the hot chicken sandwich, sesame balls, and macaroon ice cream sandwich, but it was all good. Leyla was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who was pleased to share her city and her time with us and we really enjoyed her company. After we returned home, she sent about 30 photos of the sights and foods we experienced on the tour. I would recommend Leyla and Sac Town Bites for an insider’s look at Sacramento.

A fantastic way to experience Midtown Sacramento! We took the Midtown Walking Food Tour in October 2025, and had such a great time exploring the area. Our guide, Mariah, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, art, and culture of Midtown Sacramento — she really brought the neighborhoods to life. Every stop was delicious and unique — from Kupros and Saigon Alley to World Famous Hot Boys, Ginger Elizabeth Chocolate, and Alaro Brew Pub — each had its own flavor and story. The walk between stops was just as enjoyable, especially seeing the colorful Wide Open Walls murals along the way. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food, local art, and learning more about Sacramento’s vibrant food scene.
