The Downtown Sacramento Mural and Walking Tour is a fun way to view some of the magnificent, splendid, and grand murals that adorn this fair city. You see things you cannot see when driving around. Our guide, Annie, was knowledgeable and personable. I would caution folks, however, if you have any mobility issues or are a slow walker like me, the tour covers several miles, and there is no chance to sit down. The pace was consistently moderate, and I was often behind. I am not sure I would do it again because I had quite a bit of back pain after. Perhaps using a walker or a cane might have helped.

We did a tour of Old Sac with Annie recently and it was filled with great food, great views, great overview of the history and a great tour guide! We were a small group and Annie helped us make the most of our tour, including allowing us to quick dart into an extra store (she even shared some great knowledge about that store too!)We would definitely recommend doing the food tour and will certainly look into another on our next visit.

My wife and I met our guide Leyla on Sunday 12/28 for our Sac Town Bites food tour and were pleasantly surprised that we were the only two on the tour. We really liked the hot chicken sandwich, sesame balls, and macaroon ice cream sandwich, but it was all good. Leyla was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who was pleased to share her city and her time with us and we really enjoyed her company. After we returned home, she sent about 30 photos of the sights and foods we experienced on the tour. I would recommend Leyla and Sac Town Bites for an insider’s look at Sacramento.

Hubby and I decided to go on the Old Sacramento Food Tour for a day date. I’m SO glad that we did! Our tour guide was AMAZING! Super kind and incredibly knowledgeable. We tried about six different food and treats from very different places within Old Sac. The unexpected bonus was the history lesson and historical facts offered throughout the tour. Wow! Sacramento has so much history and culture that sort of goes by the wayside. Anyway, I highly recommend this tour, it’s definitely family friendly and you’re guaranteed to leave feeling happy and satisfied.

A fantastic way to experience Midtown Sacramento! We took the Midtown Walking Food Tour in October 2025, and had such a great time exploring the area. Our guide, Mariah, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, art, and culture of Midtown Sacramento — she really brought the neighborhoods to life. Every stop was delicious and unique — from Kupros and Saigon Alley to World Famous Hot Boys, Ginger Elizabeth Chocolate, and Alaro Brew Pub — each had its own flavor and story. The walk between stops was just as enjoyable, especially seeing the colorful Wide Open Walls murals along the way. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food, local art, and learning more about Sacramento’s vibrant food scene.
